Means "pretty" in Japanese. This is why upon meeting Breanna, the girls from Chibi Heights say, "Kirei Na is sooo pretty.".
A popular anime genre in which girls are given magic powers to fight monsters. The show that Breanna, Amy, and Karen watch in the beginning of the book, for example, is an example of this genre.
Short for "costume play". Cosplaying is when you dress up as an anime, manga, or videogame character. Like Amy and Karen, most people like to cosplay at anime conventions, where anime fans from all over will gather together as their favorite anime characters.
