Vanessa thinks she's the queen of the "Con", even though she's really just the queen of mean. She knows everything about anime and the anime convention. With her assistant Kira to do her bidding, Vanessa rules the "Con" with an evil fist.
Kira is Vanessa's best friend and partner in crime. Whatever Vanessa says, Kira does--and it usually isn't a good thing.
Breanna and Amy's Uncle Bruce loves to spend time with his nieces, which is the only reason he goes to the anime convention with them (sort of). He used to draw cartoons as an animator, but nowadays he just watches them.
Amy's best friend Karen also loves anime. In fact, she can listen to J-pop and watch anime at the same time! When she's not doing either, she likes to draw pictures of her favorite anime characters.
Amy is Breanna's fourteen year-old sister who is a major anime and manga fan. She cosplays every year at the anime convention, and spends a lot of time making her costumes. Amy just can't get enough of anime and wants her sister to appreciate it as well.
Sweet and shy, sixteen year-old Breanna doesn't understand the fuss about anime. She is willing to give it a chance, but would rather play with her puppy, Charlie, instead. Too bad she doesn't know she's the "chosen one" of the magical anime world.
